Is anybody going to watch the Olympics? I can't wait for the opening ceremonies! I like the diving and gymnastics and on and on. What do you guys like?

I don't know if I'll be able to watch it this year. I told think I can stream it online and since I have cable, I don't have NBC. Would love to watch though.

I'm watching the opening ceremony right now! I'm probably just watching the fencing events, since I'm a fencer(Foil if you're curious) but whatever looks interesting. Oh and beach volleyball, since Danielle Peazar is dancing there. What? >_> And definitely the closing ceremonies! I love One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J and Olly Murs! And I'm curious about the other acts so yeah.

^ What did you think of the Opening Ceremony? I'm still scratching my head. It was definately unique. The parade of nations and the torch lighting are always my favorite parts.

Grand opening was one of the best that has happened since Atlanta 1996 olympics. I mean this time was so unique. It showed all periods of Great Britian from traditional age up to the new age (technological age). Great opening. Better that Paul McCartney almost cried. It was great enjoying.

The opening ceremony was amazing, I was actually pretty surprised by it. So far I have only seen the swimming, and I am so glad Michael Phelps did not win it I really hate him.

Michael has pretty much lost his thunder quite a bit. Good thing it will be the last time he does olympics.

<Spoiler> If you haven't seen it, don't read this.
We should have won that men's 400m freestyle relay. <frown> Settling for Silver is tough especially losing to the French.

I am French, heritage speaking, and we beat them four years ago in the relay. It's a tough loss this time around. Especially since we had the lead up to the very end. Oh well, life goes on.

My parents are from Democratic Republic of Congo which most people speak French. My parents are good at french especially my dad. I know some French but I am learning more so I can be efficient. Once my french improves, maybe you and me can speak French LOL hun.
