I am interested in seeing who they will hire to replace them. |

They really need to hire someone who will be long term. I give props to Randy and Ryan for staying that long with the show and keeping it interesting.

They both are unique voices and also I think Idol should do a beginning where if Carey and Dion join where they sing together.  ;D |

This is good news and I am not surprised that is this is happening. Mariah Carey would be a excellent mentor to singers who need to improve their voice.

I agree, but my dad already watches it anyway (and he only does for the girls tbh) so most of the time it'll probably just be my brother telling my dad he's a perv. If they'd actually have a rapping show like this, you know, give rappers a shot for once, I'd probably watch, and it'd be better cause they'd have to make their own songs every week instead of stupid ass covers. |

I would say that you guys are giving American Idol a unfair chance. Sure the show it ain't what it used to be but please this show is still better than other shows we see. I know that female have not won since 2005. But regardless, the show is excellent because even the non-winners go on to have great success. Just ask Chris Daughtry.

I actually agree with DJ and Rich.
American Idol isn't as good as it was 5 years ago and has turned into to much drama and they're letting too many crappy people in there because they would feel bad if they rejected them, honestly should have been cancelled 2 years ago as it has become a pain to watch. If I wanted that much drama I would go watch days of our lives.
But hopefully Mariah Carey can bring some life back to it.
